Victor Macias

Victor Macias is a Tucson artist whose tattoo style is a fusion of Japanese, Neotraditional, and Prehispanic iconography.

Whether the project involves blackwork, geometry, figurative, abstract illustration, bold colors, or all of the above- Victor's art taps on his roots, pulling Aztec and Mesoamerican imagery into his designs to create stylized ethereal works of tattoo art.  He particularly loves to tattoo dieties and stylized portraits of women and animals, using the body’s form to create flow in his work.

Originally from Mexico City, Victor is a self taught tattoo artist, with studies in Visual Arts from the National School of Arts of UNAM. Victor started working at Haunted Hands in 2020, after traveling as a guest tattoo artist around the world and working at many tattoo shops in his 30 year career as a tattoo artist.
