Lauren Waddell (chaos.rains.tattoo) is a fineline and dot work tattoo artist whose work is inspired by all things dark and beautiful. She is self-taught, born and raised in Tucson Arizona, and joined Haunted Hands in 2022.

Working exclusively in black and gray, Lauren’s illustrative dotwork tattoos capture a haunting quality through stark contrast, soft dotwork gradients, organic textures, and an unbelievable amount of attention to detail that miraculously stays crisp in healed skin.

She loves to tattoo natural subjects with a dark twist, especially birds and insects, and to explore all the ornate textures found in nature, from wasp nests to sea slugs. She prefers to work on large scale custom projects, but offers some smaller pre-drawn designs as well.
