Every artist has a unique style. Choose the right artist for your project by carefully reviewing their portfolio.

Being able to capture the essence of an image with mere line on paper has always been a goal of Jason Pedersen’s as an artist.

He is a traditionally trained painter and draftsman who took up tattooing long after working in the illustration, film, and gaming industries.

When Jason began tattooing in 2007, he thought it would be that background in illustration that informed his tattoo work. What he didn’t realize at the time was that they would influence each other. Jason’s tattooing has, over time, drawn influence from Neo-Traditionalists, Art Nouveau, cartooning, traditional painting, and even sculpture. He has come to embrace the linework and likes to infuse as much flow as he can.

Jason’s goal is to compliment the body with his work.

Jason’s Custom Tattoo Process

Jason begins most of his client work with a consultation. During that initial meeting, he gathers information on what you want and where you would like to get it. He will often sketch and take notes so that you and he can work up a visual language for your tattoo together. During this time, he will let you know what he thinks can and cannot be done for this piece. From there, in the days leading up to your appointment, he will usually do a rough or two and complete the final composition.
